Second new model of Ellis Ericson on pre-order at the UWL workshop for November. My continuing search for a thruster / twin hybrid brought me to this point , the VERSA . the VERSA keeps wide point and foam distribution forward, this allowing the board great planing and trim in smaller conditions, the elongated straight through the tail provides initial squirt and drive from takeoff. A set of twin fins, accompanied by a smaller 3rd rear trailer gives great thrust and control through turns and hollower sections. Bottom contours are slight entry vee, that eases the rail into transitions to flat to double concave producing lift and speed throughout the swallow tail. Combining attributes of my performance thruster into the outlines and fin setups of my Favourite Twin fin shapes - the VERSA became one of my most all-round surfboards of late.
