Third new model of Ellis Ericson on pre-order at the UWL workshop for november. Continuing on my work from the 'Tracker' and Stubbie progress, I looked to combine the two boards, thus creating the LYPTIC. I pushed the wide point back, creating a more harmonious outline that gave the board a tighter turning circle and cleaner arc through turns. The foil is an elongated 'S' deck, Rails 60/40 through center, upturned high in the nose and and low in the tail. Slight belly throughout the whole bottom aids forward trimming in the pocket, vee through the tail gives agility when back foot pressure is applied through turns.
